Yetman Caravan Park (CP)

Yetman Caravan Park is located between Texas and Goondiwindi on the NSW side of the border and offers you country hospitality in a quiet location. Yetman is a town that you pass through when travelling along the Bruxner Highway.

The park has large sites suitable for all sizes of vans. Large trees provide some shady sites.There are laundry facilities, clean disabled facilities, Electric BBQ’s, a picnic area and is pet friendly. For the energetic there is a tennis court available. Adjacent to the park is a playground available for children of all ages and those kids at heart. Powered sites with fresh water taps are next to an ablution block that is spotless and contains a free washing machine.

If you take the time to stop and have a look around, you will find the Macintyre River is easily accessible from the self registering caravan park. In the main street, is a hotel, garage and post office come general store for basic supplies. A short walk from the caravan park along a well defined track will bring you to the Macintyre River which is currently flowing freely.

HOW TO GET THERE
Turn north off the Bruxner Highway, 250 metres west of the McIntyre River Overflow, onto MacIntyre Street. The park entrance is 220 metres on the right, and the park is behind the tennis courts and the picnic area.

SITE ACCESS
Entrance is at the Blue Caravan Park sign near the tennis court.

FEES & BOOKINGS
Bookings and payments are to be made to the friendly caretaker Iris at 59 McIntyre Street (which is the grey house next door to the left of the park.)
If no one is there please feel free to set yourself up on site, there are disabled amenities that are always unlocked if you need the toilet or shower.
$10 per night.

THINGS TO DO
Yetman is situated on the Macintyre River where there are many locations for the keen fisherman to throw a line in. The community has all the necessary conveniences for those travellers passing through. The famous Cod Fish hotel offers cold beverages and hearty pub style meals and plenty of fishing advice from the locals.
