Many showgrounds offer affordable and convenient locations to camp, especially for larger RV’s. Many will also permit pets. However, many showgrounds are closed at certain times of the year due to the Annual Show or other events. It is always best to check their website or call ahead to avoid disappointment.
The Sale Showground provides relaxed and affordable camping in the heart of Gippsland. It provides for Powered and unpowered sites, tent sites, and large vehicles and is pet friendly. The park’s attractions are its location on the edge of the CBD, gated grounds, low-cost powered site fees, on-site caretaker, and also within the showground, Sale & District Greyhound Racing Club’s entertainment complex.
Park customers can walk to the entertainment venue, enjoy a drink and not have to drive, dine at the club’s seven-day restaurant and enjoy entertainment such as bingo most days, and receive free entry to weekend greyhound races.
