The Royal Hotel Gurley a free camping pub located in the middle of the small town of Gurley in Northern NSW. This hotel is one of those old iconic hotels and the perfect spot to eat, drink and stay all in one place. The Gurley Hotel is a must-visit if you’re travelling between Narrabri and Moree.

They offer delicious meals, free camping, 5 hotel rooms, a warm welcome, and good old fashioned country hospitality. They welcome all travellers, especially full range camping members to come and stay for a night in the camping area provided at the back of the pub. Hotel rooms are also available if you want a night out of the van.

Bookings are not essential for the campsite but as there is only enough space to accommodate up to 4 caravans, it may pay to ring ahead if you want to stay the night. It is free to camp out the back, they just ask that you buy a drink or a meal. They serve up dinner with a kitchen that doesn’t close until the pub closes so you can always be assured of a great meal.

Whether you stop in for a cold drink, a meal or to take a break from your travels, the Gurley Hotel brings with it friendly staff, welcoming locals and a warm country atmosphere.

HOW TO GET THERE
Travelling on the Newell Highway, Gurley is approximately 32km south of Moree and 76 km north of Narrabri. Hotel Gurley is in the middle of town opposite the park and right near the silos.

SITE ACCESS
Turn off the Newell Highway into Millie Street and the driveway to the camping area is on your left.

THINGS TO DO
Gurley is a small town between Narrabri and Moree. Attractions are just a few minutes drive away. The grain silos are an unmistakable sight as you pass through the town.
