Great stop over and sumptuous meal.

Camping is available at the rear of the Hotel and there are 6 rooms that are operational for accommodation.

The first Hotel was built around 1858. The early days saw mainly farmers and timber workers as the main patrons. The railway line was completed in 1885 and things went well until the wooden hotel burnt down and the present Pub was built on the same site in 1910.

HOW TO GET THERE
It is located 20.7 km from Elizabeth Town. Head west on Railton Rd/B13 and turn right onto Foster St/Railton Rd/B13. The hotel is on the right.

SITE ACCESS
Access is direct off Foster St, and there is an entrance to the side of the hotel which leads to the level grassed area at the rear.

Fee is from $5/night per person.

THINGS TO DO
There are a couple of attractions in town which include the Seven Sheds Brewery Meadery and Hop Garden.  You can go fishing in the nearby streams or walk along Sykes Sanctuary, 40 acres of bushland with abundant birdlife and memorials to Norman Sykes.
