Ponto Falls Campground is a large peaceful area located on the banks of Macquarie River suitable for fully self-contained caravans and big rigs. Pets are allowed with conditions and a new toilet block has been installed for the campers with a limit of 14 days maximum stay.
HOW TO GET THERE
Drive South from Dubbo on the Mitchell Highway and at around 36km from Dubbo centre turn right onto Whiteleys Lane in Maryvale, at the end turn right on Ponto Falls Road and follow it to the end. From the South follow the Mitchell Highway 11.6km North from Wellington and turn left directly into Ponot Falls Road and followit to the end.
SITE ACCESS
There is about 7km of gravel road to the site which spreads along the river bank.

There is no charge for the use of this facility, so if you are staying at this site we encourage you to help keep it clean, and please visit and support the town.

Just spent a night at Ponto Falls. Very nice spot to stay. Was disappointed with the broken glass left around 🙁 Please use the bins provided to dispose of your rubbish or take it with you.
