Mullumbimby Leagues Club sits beside the Brunswick River on the outskirts of Mullumbimby in northeastern New South Wales. As well as being a sporting club, the grounds also include a large camping area.

The campground offers both powered and unpowered sites, all of which are level and grassy. The sites are large enough to accommodate anything from tents and small campers to large motorhomes. Some sites are shady, and there are also some with river frontage, great for a spot of fishing without having to venture far from your camp. If you want to cook up your catch, there is a picnic shelter in the campground with barbecue and seating. Amenities are located in the clubhouse. Toilets are open 24 hours a day. For showers, you’ll need to get a key from the caretaker.

Guests can also make use of the clubhouse for drinks, Foxtel, pokies and pool in the afternoon and early evening. And if you’re staying on a Friday night or on a weekend when the rugby league club has home games (around eight weekends per season), you can have a break from cooking and have dinner in the clubhouse. Menu options include burgers, fish and chips, lasagne, pasta and salad, and takeaway is available.

If you’re after some exercise Mullumbimby Leagues Club also has an 11-hole golf course, which has an honesty box for a gold coin donation from campers. If you need clubs, have a chat with the caretaker. As well as fishing, you can also go kayaking on the river.

The town of Mullumbimby is well serviced with a supermarket and a variety of shops, cafes, restaurants, pubs, RSL, medical centres, and chemist.

We stayed here for over a week

The care taker didn’t bother to tell us that the Camp site spot that they put us on was surrounded by Fields that people train on.
Multiple times throughout my stay I’ve had soccer and footbAlls hit my vehicle from being kicked off the playing fields. Also I’ve had people that are training on the fields just come up to my camp and enter like they owned it.

Another thing the forgot to mention is the hot air ballon inflation that happens 15m from the campsite of payed for,
Usually seeing a hot air ballon inflate would be nice
But when it’s happening at 5,25 am full noise of vehicles and air compressors roaring, make sleeping extremely hard.

Would not recommend this campsite,

Save your money and go to the Showgrounds in Mullumbimby.

Absolutely beautiful spot, great to camp on the river front and be able to throw a line in from camp. Amenities are clean and the park is quiet. We found other travellers friendly and the caretakers Ken and Judy a lovely happy couple. Sites are quite large and kept very neat and tidy and there is a camp kitchen that overlooks the river. Great spot for a short or long stay.
