This is a great campsite located within the recreational grounds. The site caters for all size rigs with space to spread out. There are several powered sites located within the grounds under the shade of the trees, however these are limited and it on a first in basis. There are many other un-powered sites surrounding the grounds.
The site is on the banks of a small creek whose levels are weather dependent. The amenities block is within close proximity to the powered sites.
The area is all flat and level with mainly gravel sites with limited grass (weather dependent). Pets are welcome.
HOW TO GET THERE
Morven is on the Warrego Highway between Charleville (90km) and Mitchell (88km)
From the Warrego Highway, turn South down Victoria Street (Hotel on the corner) (which turns into Nebine Road) for 400m then turn right into the grounds over a cattle grid. There is also a driveway before this, which leads into parkland surrounding the Recreational Grounds.

Fee is from $5.00/ night for unpowered sites and $10.00/ night for powered sites.

Morven is withing close proximity to the Tregole National Park which is home to some rare Ooline Trees. There is also the Morven Great Artesian Basin. Morven Museum, Kerosene Tin Hut and Miniature Pioneer Village. Morven Historical Museum and Miniature Building Display. Clara Creek 4×4 Stock Route Trail.
