Limestone Gorge Campground – Judbarra / Gregory National Park (FC)

Limestone Gorge Campground is one of the camp sites along the 4WD track within Judbarra / Gregory National Park. There are 8 defined sites within the campground. The Park 4WD tracks are remote and rugged. It is best to read the 4WD information sheet and be adequately prepared and equipped. The site is not suitable for caravans and has very limited facilities. The Park features spectacular range and gorge scenery and significant traces of Aboriginal culture, European exploration, and pastoral history.

SITE ACCESS
On the banks of the East Baines River, 60 km south of Timber Creek, near the historic Bullita Homestead and stockyard.Turning south off the Victoria Highway, 10 km east of Timber Creek, the unsealed Bullita Access Road leads to the campground.
Judbarra / Gregory National Park may be reached via the Victoria Highway from either Katherine, Kununurra or the unsealed Buntine Highway.
Park can also be reached via the unsealed Buchanan Highway as well.

Please note: GPS Coordinates are approximate and provided in most cases to get you to the National Park entrance. Once inside the park there should be signs to the actual camp grounds. Failing this please check with National Parks for further directions.

FEES & BOOKINGS
Campgrounds along the 4WD tracks are free.

FACILITIES
Toilet, picnic table, and barbecue.

THINGS TO DO
Boating, canoeing, bushwalking, and Aboriginal Art appreciation.

RULES
Keep to designated roads and tracks.
All cultural items and wildlife are protected.
Do not deface boab trees, doing so harms the tree and looks unsightly. Fines apply.
