Situated in magical South Durras, just 15 minutes drive from Batemans Bay, is the Lakesea Caravan Park. Lakesea is ideal for family holidays or weekend escapes with accommodation options to suit all budgets and tastes. Bordered by the picturesque and idyllic panoramas of Durras Beach and Durras Lake, you can enjoy both lake and beach activities all in one magical location.

Relax and unwind in the tranquillity of the natural bush setting where colourful birds, curious local kangaroos and an abundance of wildlife surround you. Providing grassy powered and en-suite sites with caravan sites having annexed mats, sites are suitable for everything from tents through to larger RV’s. There is ample tree shade to sit under and read a book, and open wood fire drums/bbqs to sit around and toast marshmallows.

Clean, modern amenity blocks are located at either end of the park for your convenience, 3 fully equipped laundries and separate babies’ bathroom, with children and disabled person facilities are also onsite. The well equipped camp kitchen and recreation room includes, 2 free gas BBQ’s, a coffee machine, free internet kiosk and a large LCD TV. The large undercover dining area is a great place to meet and share a meal with other fellow campers having ample seating for up to 30 persons.

Lakesea Caravan Park offers a wide range of activities and attractions, with some of the most beautiful scenery and landscapes around. Your holiday can be as active or as relaxing as you like.

ACCOMMODATION
Sit back, relax and take in the views from one of the self contained elevated cabins that overlook Beagle Bay or a lakeside cabin that overlooks Durass Beach. Parkside cabins are close to both lake and beach and the standard cabins close to amenities.

HOW TO GET THERE
Turn off he Princes Highway into Durras Drive (BP on corner) 8.8km north of the Batemans Bay bridge or 38km south of the Burrill Lake/Stony Creek Bridge. Follow Durass Drive for 6.3km, then turn left into Durras Lake Road and follow for 1.4km.

SITE ACCESS
At the end of Durass Lake Road enter the driveway just over the speed bump and follow the road to reception.

Fees are for 2 persons and seasonal rates apply.

Lakesea Park is situated a short stroll from the magnificent Durras Beach (otherwise known as Beagle Bay) where crystal clear waters and unforgettable scenery will guarantee to unwind all the pressures of the city. Enjoy surfing, swimming, diving, fishing or just relaxing on the beach.

Children’s Playground – Located central to all park amenities with plenty of fun and adventure for ages up to 12 years is the exciting modern children’s playground.

Park Grounds – All roads in the park are limited to walking speed. Kids are welcome to ride bikes, scooters, skateboards etc around the park provided they wear helmets, and are under adult supervision where necessary.

Cinema – During School Holidays and Long Weekends relax and catch a movie in the state of the art Cinema Complex with full cinema quality surround sound. Entry to the cinema is through Lakesea Park’s camp kitchen. Movies are FREE to all Lakesea Park patrons.

You may also enjoy Table Tennis, Basketball, Cricket, and other ball, card and board games.

Bird Watching – For those who are adventurous there are many bushwalks through the abundant gum and rain forests where you can experience the enormous diversity of native fauna and flora.

Lake Fishing – Whether you are a complete fishing novice or serious about getting out and exploring, Durras Lake is a host to some of the most productive, isolated and serene fishing on the South Coast.

Canoeing – With access to Durras Lake at our doorstep, why not head out in a canoe or kayak for some adventure in the great outdoors. Explore the extensive Durras Lake area, go on a canoe/kayak and hike adventure, our find that romantic spot for picnic.
