Jonah Bay Camp Site (CG)

Looking for a camp near Arthurs Lake?

Located at Arthurs Lake near Cowpaddock Bay is Jonah Bay Campground that is closed during the winter season because of the cold conditions that make the facilities unusable. The campsite is closed from the first week in May and re-opens on the last Saturday in July.

The pet-friendly site is accessible to small caravans, motorhomes, camper trailers, and campervans with areas suitable for tents.

The campground is close to Arthurs Lake making it a popular spot for trout fishing. The site is more of a rugged experience when compared to Pump House Bay.

SITE ACCESS
Jonah Bay campground is located near Cowpaddock Bay on Arthurs Lake, travel along Poatina Road and turn off at Gunns Marsh Road.

FEES & BOOKING
Please note that this is a paid campsite and you must book through the Bothwell Tourism Association, by calling 6259 4049. If there is no answer on this number you can call 0439 503 211 or 0439 202 436.
Adults $3 per night, or $15 per week
Children and Pensioners $1.50 per night or $10 per week
Family $8 per night, or $30 per week

The Bothwell Tourism Association receives all the profits generated from the campsite. They use these funds to improve facilities at this site and others to make the Central Highlands a better place to visit.

FACILITIES
There is only one chemical toilet that is unisex, however disabled access is still available, and there are no showers.

There is a concrete boat ramp located near this campsite and fires are permitted in the firepots provided unless there is a fire ban.

This site offers excellent opportunities for finishing or boating activities.
