Set on 50 acres of land at Bramley in WA’s famed Margaret River wine-growing region, Jarvis Estate Winery and Nature Based Camping is a boutique vineyard producing both red and white wines and also offering a small camping area.
Owners Matt and Jackie Jarvis established the vineyard in 1997 and began producing award-winning wines a few years later, with Matt being the principal winemaker. Red wines produced include Cabernet Sauvignon, Malbec, Merlot, Shiraz and Cabernet Franc, or if you prefer a white wine, there’s Chardonnay, Sauvignon Blanc and Semillon. Wines are produced entirely on the property, from growing and fermenting the grapes through to bottling, allowing Matt and Jackie to have full control throughout the winemaking process.
Visitors to the property can take a vineyard tour and taste the wines. Wines can be purchased from Jarvis Estate Winery’s cellar door, which is open 7 days a week, and if you’d like to buy after you’ve left the Margaret River area there is also an online store.
If you’re looking for somewhere to stay while you’re in the region, Jarvis Estate Winery and Nature Based Camping has a campground that is suitable for fully self-contained caravans and motorhomes only. Tents are not allowed unless with an RV. There are no toilets or showers—hence the need to have your own—though there is drinking water available. Sites are all unpowered and are located near grape vines or native bush, with some shade available. Campfires are permitted seasonally with owner’s approval first, and dogs are welcome but must be on a leash.
Margaret River is just a 10 minute drive away for any supplies that you need. There is a dump point in the town as well as a good variety of shops and services including supermarkets, eateries, hardware, camping store, hospital and medical clinics, vets and automotive services.
HOW TO GET THERE
From the Bussell Highway (Route 10) between Margaret River and Cowaramup, turn eastwards on Osmington Road. Follow for about 5 km and turn left into Wirring Road. Jarvis Estate Winery is less than 1 km along Wirring Road on the left. Look for the sign at the gate.

Call in at the cellar door when you arrive. There is easy access to the property and campground and plenty of room to turn large vehicles and RVs.
