Jalmurark Campground offers grassed areas, hot water, ablution facilities but not powered sites. Location is suitable for tents and caravans. There are no powered sites and generators are not permitted. No pets are allowed as well. It is located in Elsey National Park which has warm, crystal-clear pools, long stretches of river, scenic walking tracks and historic sites.

SITE ACCESS
To access the main Thermal Pool (Mataranka Hot Springs), take the Homestead Road turnoff (1.5km south of Mataranka on the Stuart Highway) and follow it for around 7km.
To access the facilities along John Hauser Drive, turn off the Homestead Road around 4km from the Highway.
The most comfortable months to visit the Park are from May to September. The wet season causes the Roper River to flood, which may restrict access to some facilities in the Park.

Please note: GPS Co-Ordinates are approximate and provided in most cases to get you to the National Park entrance. Once inside the park there should be signs to the actual camp grounds. Failing this please check with National Parks for further directions.
