Many showgrounds offer affordable and convenient locations to camp, especially for larger RV’s. Many will also permit pets. However, many showgrounds are closed at certain times of the year due to the Annual Show or other events. It is always best to check their web site or call ahead to avoid disappointment.
The Gin Gin Showground welcomes campers of all types. The showground\’s are conveniently located within the town area and are an easy walk to the shops.
HOW TO GET THERE
Gin Gin is on the Bruce Highway between Gympie and Gladstone and is 114km North of maryborough.
SITE ACCESS
On the Bruce Highway heading into Gin Gin from the North, turn right into King Street, from the South King Street is just after all the shops. Showground\’s are on the left. Then caretaker is usually on site towards the top of the stables to your right.

Powered sites $25 (based on 2 people – from July 2022), children $5
FACILITIES
Showers, toilets, power and water are all available and there is a caretaker on site.

Gin Gin has a large supermarket and local shops including places to eat and the historic Gin Gin Hotel.

Would love a dump point on the grounds. Facilities are very good.
