Bush camping is available at Fitzgerald Bay in designated areas – one with ‘Windyloos’ and running water. Sixteen kilometres along the Point Lowly/Port Bonython road is the turn-off to Fitzgerald Bay. At the end of the Fitzgerald Bay road is a T junction where the sealed road becomes a dirt road, if you turn left and travel for approximately 1.8km you will come across the first bush camping area, which is fairly basic.
If you continue approximately 1.9km further you will come to the second bush camping area, which has toilets and running water. Alternatively, if you turn right at the T junction and travel for approximately 3.7km it will take you to a further basic camping area
There is no charge for the use of this facility, so if you are staying at this site we encourage you to help keep it clean, and please visit and support the town.
