Peaceful site with beautiful views
Many showgrounds offer affordable and convenient locations to camp, especially for larger RV’s. Many will also permit pets. However, many showgrounds are closed at certain times of the year due to the Annual Show or other events. It is always best to check their website or call ahead to avoid disappointment.
Finch Hatton/Pioneer Valley Showground’s are a large area with Powered sites, Pets are by arrangement and the Maximum stay is 48 hour available for campers & caravans. There is a Caretaker on site and the showgrounds are unavailable 2 weeks before and after the annual Show.
SITE ACCESS
Travelling to Eungella, travel thru the main street (Mackey-Eungella Rd). Turn right into People’s Street. Before the bridge, take the dirt road on the right which takes you to the showground.
FEES
Unpowered sites $20, powered sites $25 (based on 2 people)
Maximum Stay 48 hours
FACILITIES
Hot showers and toilets. They do not have any black water or laundry facilities. The township of Finch Hatton has a general store to top up on supplies. There is also a hardware store, school, ambulance, and fire station.
RULES
Please obey any local signage.
