Farm on Franklin is a 50-acre property being developed into a permaculture-based family farm endeavoring to be environmentally sustainable, and economically viable.

A beautiful natural campsite with open and shaded areas on land near our home. There are no bells and whistles or landscaped gardens (yet), being in the development phase of establishing our land/farm – over time the offerings and amenities will be improved.

Campers (tents or vans) need to have their own camping toilet and shower and dump in designated dump areas at Port Sorell, Narawntapu National Park or Latrobe.

Dogs are allowed provided they do not cause harm to our free-ranging chooks, wildlife, or children. Also please pick up after them so all campers may walk freely.

Take your rubbish with you and only light fires in the designated fire pits or barrels (at owners discretion + no fires on total fire ban days).

Antisocial behaviour will not be tolerated. This is a family-friendly farm.

Please leave the campground as you found it so the next people may enjoy it too.

Closed June to mid-September.

Many extras available.

You’ll feel a million miles away by a lovely river, but actually so close to the best attractions Tassie has to offer, it’s also a destination in itself:-)
