Esk Friendly Grocer

The Esk Friendly Grocers is open 7 Days a week* until 7pm weekdays and 6pm on the weekends. It is conveniently located in the main street of Esk and for anyone staying at the Esk Caravan Park it is just an easy walk across the road.

The store has significant history and is operated by the Esk District Co-Op, so it is very much a local store that is run by passionate local people who love campers and travellers calling in when staying in town.

They take pride in the store which is well stocked and presented with a full range of groceries and also offer a few other services, including an in-store mini branch of the Heritage Bank, and the Home Hardware Store next door which is also owned and operated by the Co-Op.

Being the only supermarket in town with an extensive range, means you don’t need to stock up before you get to Esk, instead, you can shop and support this great little Queensland town. If you are travelling further north, the Co-Op also own and operates the IGA Toogoolawah.

HOW TO GET THERE
Esk is located right on the Brisbane Valley Highway, and the store is easily found in the main street, right on the corner of the highway and Hassall Street and adjacent to the blue Home Hardware Building.

SITE ACCESS
The streets in Esk are wide enough so you can pull off to the side of the road if you are just passing through and don’t want to unhitch. Bear in mind, it is a busy place and you may not always find enough room. If you are staying at the Esk Caravan Park, the Friendly Grocer is only a 200 metre walk away.
