Clunes Caravan Park is a pet friendly park located in the ancient, historical town of Clunes, right in the heart of the Gold Fields Region. A great place to base yourself if you are looking to try your hand at prospecting or to explore the many historical towns in the surrounding area. Clunes Caravan Park is only a short stroll to the main street of town and provides travellers with a range of caravan, camping and onsite cabin accommodation

Nestled alongside the Creswick Creek, the park with its huge shady elm trees, green lawns and beautiful gardens offers travellers powered and unpowered sites that are suitable for tents, caravans, camper trailers and motorhomes. There are some drive thru sites available and 5th wheelers are welcome by appointment. The park provides new, clean and tidy disabled and unisex amenities, coin operated washing machines/dryer, an undercover BBQ area and a children’s playground.

If you have been out for the day sightseeing, you can finish the day at the Bread and Circus Restaurant or the Pub for dinner, or simply sit around the campfire toasting marshmallows and enjoying the peacefulness and serenity of the park. In the early mornings you may be lucky and spot the Platypus, although you will have to be up very early and quiet for this one. Relax and enjoy listening to the birds as they go about their daily doings or venture across the street for a coffee and rummage around some of our wonderful treasure shops.

The township of Clunes is well facilitated for all your shopping needs with an IGA, Pharmacy, Post Office, Newsagent, Butcher, Bakery and a Hairdresser. The park is just one minute’s leisurely walk to the historic main street – antiques, books, cafes, restaurants and museums. With so much to see and do, your hosts Matt and Dee Russell, sons Joshua and Jacob with Poppy “Tom” and their own dog Rusty looking forward to welcoming you to Clunes Caravan Park.
