Located only a short walk from Browns Beach.

The campground has 11 sites nestled among natural vegetation and bordered by a steep sand dune and they are suitable for caravans. A short walk will take you to Browns Beach, a popular fishing spot. Spectacular coastal landscapes with rugged cliffs and sandy beaches provide the backdrop of Innes National Park. The park comprises 9,415 hectares of coastal vegetation, contributing to one of the few large areas of significant vegetation on the Yorke Peninsula.

Browns Beach Campground is famous for Australian salmon fishing. The campground has 7 campsites and is nestled between sandhills, providing shelter from the wind.

SITE ACCESS
Innes National Park is located on the south-western tip of the Yorke Peninsula, approximately 300km by road from Adelaide via Port Wakefield, Ardrossan, Minlaton, and Warooka.

Please note: GPS Co-Ordinates are approximate and provided in most cases to get you to the National Park entrance. Once inside the park, there should be signs of the actual campgrounds. Failing this please check with National Parks for further directions.

FEES
Camping fees from $17 per night for unpowered sites.
Bookings are required and available online via the booking link.
Cash self-registration stations are no longer in use in this park.
There is a 5 day limit at this campground.
Your campsite is available to you from 12noon on the day of your arrival until 11 am the day of departure.
Park entry fees are applicable to this park.

FACILITIES
Pit toilets are provided. Mobile phone coverage can be patchy and unreliable especially if you are in a low-lying area. To get a signal, you may have to walk or drive to one of the higher areas in the park.

THINGS TO DO
Renowned for their cruisy atmosphere and a laidback lifestyle, the beaches of Yorke Peninsula are great places to go swimming, surfing, fishing or to enjoy a family picnic.
Innes National Park has an excellent choice of walking trails. Varying from a 30-minute short stroll to a four-hour hike, the trails provide some of the best coastal views in the state, including the Stenhouse Bay Lookout Walk and West Cape Headland Hike, which offers spectacular 360-degree views of the coastal landscape from a lookout.

RULES
Wood fires and solid fuel fires are prohibited during Fire Ban periods.
Take rubbish home with you – if you carry it in, carry it out.
Campfires and generators are not permitted.

To pay $17 a night for a pit toilet is total bull shit!, not worth the walk to the beach, which by the way was free. So what are you all so called do gooders doing with you’r rip-off money? I will never go back there, and i will also let all my contacts know not to visit their!.
