Blizzardfield Campsite is located 5 mins from Dubbo city centre and is a great spot for a stopover for travellers and visitors to Dubbo, central western NSW. The largest town in the region, Dubbo is situated at the junction of the Newell, Mitchell, and Golden Highways, so it is a perfect spot for a break in your journey on the way to or from many destinations. The Campsite is an ideal location to use as a base while you explore all that the region has to offer.

Blizzardfield caters to fully self-contained vehicles from small vans to big rigs. Must be self-contained leave no trace vehicles. Sorry no pets, as there are resident pet dogs. Gas Bottle refills are available. Potable water available and recycled garbage collection.

The sealed road to the site ensures year-round access and the very large campsite area enables easy movement of both small and large RVs.

The campsite itself is home to many local bird species, attracted by the local flora that abounds.

The park provides gas bottle refills, and all the other necessities can be found in Dubbo, as in any large town.

HOW TO GET THERE
From Dubbo, take Narromine Road West from the Newell Highway for 2.2km and turn right into Richardson Road, the property is on the left at the end after only 250m. There is an obvious entry to the area at a break in the hedge line.

SITE ACCESS
Must ring first. Drive through the break in the trees and follow RV & Camper Entry Sign, stop and collect an envelope in the box located under the Elgas sign.

FEES & BOOKINGS
Fee is from $14/night for unpowered sites and $25/night for powered sites.

Dubbo has many must-see attractions including the famous Western Plains Zoo, Dundullimal Homestead, Australia’s oldest slab house. Old Dubbo Gaol, Dubbo Museum and Cultural Centre, Japanese Botanic Gardens, and New Adventure Parkland for the children. The Royal Flying Doctors Display Centre. The Wellington Caves (40mins), The Dish in Parkes and the Narromine Air Museum.
