Big Brook Arboretum is an open campground (without separated individual camp sites) that can accommodate tents, campervans, camper trailers and caravans.
Dogs are permitted. They must be on a leash at all times.

SITE ACCESS
5km north of Pemberton.

Please note: GPS Co-Ordinates are approximate and provided in most cases to get you to the entrance. Once inside the park there should be signs to the actual camp grounds. Failing this please check with National Parks for further directions.

FEES & BOOKINGS
Per night: $8 adult (16 years or older), $6 concession, $3 child (6-15 years), no fee for children 5 years and under.
Bookings cannot be made.
The campground is very popular during school holidays and weekends from October to April, particularly public holiday weekends. Be prepared with an alternative place to stay at these times in case there is no suitable site available.
We cannot give any guarantee of availability of camp sites and we cannot respond to enquiries for specific availability information.

FACILITIES
Picnic tables, barbecues and toilets are provided.

THINGS TO DO
A number of trails weave their way through the arboretum where visitors can wander among the many plots of exotic trees that were planted here to see how they would grow and respond to the local soil and climate for their potential plantation value. The Big Brook Dam is located 3-kilometres from the camp site by vehicle along the Karri Forest Explorer Drive or 1-kilometre on foot via the Bibbulmun Track.

GUIDELINES
Campfires are usually permitted, in the provided fire rings only, between April 15 and November 30 but fire restrictions may be imposed at any time and without notice. Bring your own firewood. When fire restrictions are in place campfires must not be lit and any appliance powered by burning solid fuel must not be used. Always comply with any instructions at campgrounds and parks.
Campers’ own liquid or gas fuel barbeques, stoves and heaters can be used at any time, unless a total fire ban has been declared (see Department of Fire and Emergency Services).
Campers’ are encouraged to follow the simple principles of Leave No Trace to minimise the environmental impact of their visit.
Very few campgrounds have waste bins – take all waste with you when you leave.
