If you’re having a break from travelling and your van is likely to be exposed to the elements, Brian, Sharon and the team at Armour Covers Australia (formerly Caravan & Motorhome Covers) can help.

Located at Forest Glen in Queensland’s Sunshine Coast region, Armour Covers Australia are manufacturers of durable covers for anything from camper trailers to 5th wheelers and large motorhomes. The covers are custom made from Australian made canvas, industrial tarpee fabric and lined with a soft Tyvek fabric. Covers can be made with optional heat and hail protection, consisting of three layers, including a 4mm-thick middle insulating layer. Hail protection blankets are also available.

Depending on the size, they come in two to four sections that are put on to the van using poles and then zipped together, and are easier to put on than the imported covers. Straps on the corners are tightened to provide a snug fit around your caravan or motorhome. If you need access to your van while it’s covered, that’s not a problem as Armour Covers include a door section that can be unzipped so the door can be opened.

HOW TO GET THERE
Armour Covers Australia is just a 2 minute drive from the Bruce Highway. Take the Mons Road exit 200 from the highway. Follow Mons Road until you come to a small shopping strip. Armour Covers is located behind the shops on the eastern side.(refer to google maps). You do not need to visit the factory as they have an easy to follow measuring diagram and your cover can be mailed to you anywhere in Australia.
