Exciting outback experience for the whole family.
Arckaringa Station is located 150kms north of Coober Pedy with an area of 2,745 square kilometres offering camping and accommodation and only an 11 km drive from the breathtaking Painted Desert.
The campground is pet-friendly with access to the toilets and showers. A BBQ area is set up where you can cook and watch the sunset over the Painted Desert.
The site is accessible to caravans and camper trailers with areas suitable for tents.

Enjoy the views in the late afternoon leading into the sunset, as well as sunrise and early morning. The Painted Desert makes for an exciting outback experience for the whole family to explore. You can drive up to the Painted Desert or better yet, take a walk through the hills to get up close and personal to Mother Nature’s art piece.
There is also an abundance of animals that inhabit Arckaringa. Kangaroos are the most commonly seen.
