Andrew Drynan Park is a pet friendly bush camp situated along Running Creek between Mount Chinghee and the Border Rangers in the beautiful Beaudesert Region. With an impressive backdrop formed by Mt Chinghee, this is the perfect spot for those looking to escape the hustle and bustle of everyday life and enjoy the peace and serenity of mother nature.

The bush camp with its wide open spaces and surrounded by tall trees is suitable for tents, camper trailers, caravans, motorhomes and even the larger RV’s. All sites are unpowered and water must be boiled before drinking (or BYO). There are no showers but you do have the added comfort of flush toilets. You have the privilege of choosing your perfect spot where you can relax, read a book, take a refreshing swim in the creek or have a picnic at one of the shaded tables. At night relax around the campfire or sit under the stars as you are serenaded by the sounds of the gently flowing running creek. This is camping without convenience but extremely popular with those seeking serenity and seclusion.  Responsible use of generators allowed

If you need any extra supplies, the small township of Rathdowney is only 19klms from the campsite where this is a General Store for all your basic needs and offers take away food, a Pub, Post Office, Service Station and a Museum.

Most beautiful meadow at a slope, with a creek which is clean and allows a dip. Mostly not crowded except school holidays and all the long weekends. Simple bush toilet and no showers. Open campfires are allowed and pet friendly. Great for a night or even two. South of Beaudesert at Lion‘s Road, popular for bikers.
