Amblers Crossing Campground offers a basic bush camping experience for those that are self-sufficient. It is located beside the river and recommended for Tents and off-road camper trailers or Camper vans.

Rising in the Great Dividing Range, the Lerderderg River has cut a 300 metre deep gorge through sandstone and slate, almost bisecting the park. The park has a wide variety of vegetation and wildlife and some interesting relics of goldmining.

SITE ACCESS
The park lies north of Bacchus Marsh between Blackwood and Gisborne. The main access roads to the park are Lerderderg Gorge Road north of Bacchus Marsh, or O’Briens Road running across the north of the park south of Blackwood.

Please note: GPS Co-Ordinates are approximate and provided in most cases to get you to the National Park entrance or as close to the camp site as possible. Once inside the park there should be signs to the actual camp grounds. Failing this please check with National Parks for further directions.
