Website Update - New Easy to Use Menu
As you may know we have been working on our website of late, and with the new server now up and running, we are turning our attention to the look of the site. We started with a new menu, which is designed to get your around the site quicker and easier. Each link now gives more details and a visual explanation of where to go on the site.
Don’t forget the website is totally free to use and gives access to over 9000+ Campsites and RV Related Businesses, so please feel free to check it out and let us know what you think.

Follow us South - Sunshine Coast to Sydney
Yep, it goes against the grain, but we had to do it, and it was actually not as bad as we thought. Granted the Sunshine Coast is that far South, but it is still South of Cairns! Whilst it was cold, it was nothing that a few cuddles, blankets and a heater couldn’t fix. With our final destination eventually being the Snowfields, this part of the trip will take us as far as Sydney for a quick stop over. We left the Sunshine Coast mid-June and decided on the New England Highway, just so we could take in some of the highest towns in NSW and warm the kids up to it. Ha!. The trip was great, and a few detours meant we met some amazing people and discovered some great new places along the way.

Rebuilding a Burnt Down Inn into a Unique Bar @ Free Camp
This month’s inspirational story is not about another traveller, but about two people who love travellers and would love them to call in at their Pub and Free Camp. It’s inspirational because it’s about how Lynn and Andrew bought the remains of the Deepwater Inn after it was totally gutted by a fire in 2011. With no previous knowledge of how to run a pub, these two vegetarian, non-drinkers, with no money set about rebuilding the old Inn. What they have achieved is truly remarkable as the Inn has now been restored to its former glory and operates 7 days a week offering cold refreshments, entertainment and amazing meals, along with a Free Camp out the back, where they welcome campers and caravanners to stay and share a meal beside the warm fire. Problem Solved - Open your Window & Door at the same time
If you are unable to open your caravan window when your caravan door is open, then this new product is just for you. This simple door latch solves the most common problem for a large number of caravans, designed with the door opening over the window, meaning you cannot use it. It is a simple door latch extension that easily fits onto your existing door without any modifications and allows you full clearance to open your window.

Braided Custard Fruit Bread
Time for winter comfort food and this recipe hits the spot on a cold night. Easily prepared and cooked by the campfire in the camp oven.
