App Upgrade & Faster Website
Great news, we are making progress with the website upgrade and almost there with our first major upgrade to the App. The next release will not only see a few minor bugs ironed out, but also introduce direct access to all other parts of the Free Range Camping Website within the App environment. This means you will be able to access the Shop, Classifieds, Blogs and all other areas right within your App. We will let you know as soon as its all ready and how to update your current version. We are also moving over to a new server in the coming weeks, so everything should be moving a little faster.

Free Range Camping - What does it mean?
At FRC there appears to be a constant misconception that because we have the word FREE in our title, that we only support Free Camping. It appears many miss the word RANGE in our title. At FRC we are all about being FREE to choose from as wide a RANGE of CAMPING options as possible. We like to give our members as many options as possible and that is why we include everything from Free Camps, Campgrounds to Caravan Parks and also extend into House/Farm Sitting and Helping out for places to stay. Don’t get us wrong, we love our Free Camping, but we also love some of the private campgrounds and caravan parks out there, some of which offer amazing facilities and services that many travellers are after. We are all different in our needs and FRC is designed to try to accommodate this by offering a full RANGE of options. Once you are in the directory, you can search out the options that best meet your needs. Not to be confused, what is Free is access to our Website, where once you register, you have access to over 9000 Campsite & RV Related Business Listings. In addition to this, we have a paid service, which is our Premium Club. Here members receive a host of other benefits including access to our Offline App, Member Discount, Shop Discounts, Free Classified Listings and much more. An Inspirational Story About Travelling with a Disability
This month our traveller’s story is about the tenacious Joy, and her husband Kim. If you are thinking of travelling with an illness or disability this story will be sure to give you hope and inspiration. It wasn’t long ago Joy was advised she would possibly never walk again, let alone go camping. Wintersun 2.0
If you love vintage caravans, we can highly recommend Wintersun 2.0 The original Wintersun Festivals were held on the Gold and Tweed Coast for 25 years from 1988 to 2010. They combined a huge display of hundreds of custom cars combined with lots of Rock’n’roll Music. Now the event is back in the form of Wintersun 2.0 It is one of those events that campers will love.
