Welcome to Free Range Camping e-news
Hello everyone, well, it has certainly been a long time between newsletters and so much has happened since the last one. We somehow managed to get ourselves caught up in the after effects of Cyclone Debbie which resulted in a few holdups, more on that later. But, we are happy to announce, that we now finally have the Free Range Camping Club up and running, which along with a host of benefits includes our long awaited App, exclusively available for Premium Club Members.
Also in this edition we will take a closer look at the beautiful Yorke Peninsular in SA, we tell you more about the floods and how we can help struggling communities in the aftermath, we meet Kel, a fellow traveller having a ball discovering caravanning for the first time, and we have a great story on Alkoomi Adventure Farm a campground that gives back to the community.
Our product of the month is BioMagic, a fantastic series of treatments for waste and water management for RV’s. This month also, as well as our usual new campsite additions, we expand to let you know about our new FRC Business Partners and listings in our classified section.
So grab a cuppa, sit by the campfire and catch up on the latest.

Cyclone Debbie – The After Effects
Cyclone Debbie certainly caused some destruction when she hit the Nth Queensland Coast in March this year. But the destruction did not stop there as it tracked down the east coast of Australia it affected many towns along the way, as far down as Northern NSW. Unfortunately the destruction was not short-lived, with many individuals and businesses suffering along the way, many of which remain homeless and some without livelihood. As travellers, how can we help? There are now over 120,000 estimated travellers on the road each day, if we were to all call in on these small regional towns and support them, even in the smallest of ways, it would go a long way to build their spirits and assisting financially.

Meet Kel
Here is an inspiration for you, at the ripe age of 75, Kel decided he should buy a caravan and trip around Australia. Trouble is he had never even towed one before, but he was up for the challenge and was not going to let a few health issues stand in his way. Now 3 years later, he is unstoppable and having a tonne of fun out on the road as you will see in this short video.
