DIRECTORY UPDATES & CHANGES

We have been making quite a few changes and updates to the directory over the last few weeks.

One of the major changes will be with our categories. With Campgrounds and Caravan Parks constantly changing prices, it has become quite a challenge to continue with our Low Cost & $25+ Categories. Subsequently, we have now restructured these two categories.

category-changes

Low Cost to Campgrounds
Essentially, our old Low Cost category will now encompass Campgrounds, more specifically those that include Private or Primitive Campgrounds, Showgrounds, Pubs, National Parks & Forestry Sites. The majority of these sites are on average still under the $25 per night mark, but this may not always be the case. Coming soon, we will also introduce a filter that will allow you to search for specific categories, e.g. Showgrounds.

$25+ to Caravan Parks
The old $25+ Category will now be dedicated to full facility Caravan Parks. The price of these is usually around the $25 or more per night, but once again, this is not always the case, some may be less.

Were possible and if made available to us, we will try to have the starting price point of each site in the listing, so you can just check in a listing to find the latest info on individual prices.

Full definitions of what each category contains can be found on the Map Markers tab on your profile page once you log into the site.

CHILDERS GETS A 20 HOUR RV PARK

Great news with Childers being another town in the Bundaberg region to get approval for a new RV Stopover.  The RV park will definitely benefit businesses in the small town of Childers as it will increase the number of tourists and grey nomads travelling the region. It will be a great chance to showcase the town's local and natural attractions.
